Wednesday Morning

Today the children continued working on their poetry booklets and they began reading their "pourquoi tales."  In Math, students worked on some probability sheets which was assigned as homework if it was not finished.  Our "Jump Rope For Heart" event is scheduled for Friday (weather permitting) and information is contained in our school newsletter. Just a reminder that all library books are asked to be returned by Friday.  Also, I wanted to update you on on the Play Day which is planned for the afternoon of Thursday June 22nd.  Weather permitting, the kindergarten classes, along with students in grades one through six, will enjoy an afternoon of outdoor games.  Grade six students will be the leaders and will be running the games.  Children are asked to wear sturdy shoes (no Crocs or flip flops for safety reasons) and lightweight clothing.  They are also encouraged to pack a water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
