Tuesday Morning

Just a friendly reminder that our class will be visiting the Scholastic Book Fair tomorrow morning should your son or daughter wish to bring money to school to make a purchase.  The weekly reading log is due Thursday given that Friday is a PD Day.  Some students will be bringing home math work about fractions to finish if it was not completed in class. In Language, we are be going to learning about pourquoi tales which are legends that are written to explain how or why something in nature happened (e.g., why there are stars in the sky or how the leopard got its spots).  They are usually concerned with animals and the natural world.  I look forward to hearing all the creative ideas the students generate.  In Math, we are finishing up area and are beginning to learn about fractions and equivalent fractions. Have a great evening!
