Thursday Morning

Today we reviewed addition strategies for re-grouping with four digit numbers. The class also re-visited different ways to calculate elapsed time (e.g., "mountains and hills, t-chart, zoom").  We will be having a short quiz on telling time on an analog clock and calculating elapsed time on Friday December 9th.  Given that we are is the season of Advent, we reflected on our many gifts (e.g., family, friends, our faith) and wrote a paragraph as a reflection of our thoughts. Just a reminder that Reading Logs are due tomorrow and some students may come home with an unfinished math sheet to work on.
