Friday

Please note that students have been asked to bring home their "communication boards" and their rhyming poem to finish over the weekend if they need to.  Today, we learned about free verse and had some "hands on" practise creating different types of poetry together on the Smartboard (e.g., free verse, limerick and haiku). Equivalent fractions was the focus of our math lesson and the students will be using fraction strips next week to solve problems in this area.  Our morning ended with going outside for a quick game of soccer. We will be going on a field trip to Jack Pine Trail on Friday June 17th and a permission form will be coming home next week with more information.  Enjoy the nice weather!
