Tuesday Morning

The students did a great job of using marshmallows and toothpicks yesterday to create 3d shapes.  Today the children worked with a partner to create problems related to perimeter and area of regular and irregular shapes and then had the opportunity to trade their work with a peer. We discussed the importance of measuring area in square units.  Our second block involved using the chrome books to finish up some writing activities.  Just a friendly reminder that the weekly reading log along with the double sided math sheet that went home yesterday will be due Friday.  Have a great evening!
