Monday Morning

Today we visited the Learning Commons to exchange books. The students used chrome books to continue drafting their "pourquoi tales" and to write their monologue from the perspective of a tree stump for a Religion activity they are working on.  Geometry quizzes will be returned tomorrow.  We began learning about how to calculate area of polygons (rectangles and squares).  To find the area of a rectangle, the formula is height x width.  To calculate the area of a square, we only need to find the length of one side (the length) and multiply it by itself.  Thank you to all the donations of plastic bags, just a reminder that students are encouraged to wear green tomorrow in support of our eco-friendly initiatives.
