Wednesday Morning

Today, our class began writing their monologues which will be shared at our monthly Gospel Values Assembly.  Each student was assigned an animal (e.g., giant panda) or feature of God's Creation (e.g., soil).  Their task was to draft a paragraph from the perspective of that subject explaining how the actions of humans and the environment has affected that species or entity.  In Math, we have begun our unit on geometry and continued classifying quadrilaterals (e.g., rectangles, squares) by their geometric properties (e.g., number of right angles). The students worked on a learning task which involved identifying angles as acute, right or obtuse.  This sheet is to be finished by tomorrow if it was not finished in class today.  Have a great evening!
