Thursday Morning

On this chilly morning, we read a Valentines text and answered some short comprehension questions. The students also completed a Valentines multiplication activity after we reviewed some multiplication strategies together (e.g., arrays, number lines).  We will be working on mastering our multiplication facts up to 9 x 9 over the next little while.  Should your son or daughter wish to hand out Valentine Cards tomorrow, please note there are 24 students in our class.  Tomorrow morning we will be visiting the Cake Raffle in the Learning Commons.  Children are still able to purchase tickets tomorrow morning should they wish.  Friday will also be "Jersey Day."
