I was away yesterday and came back to find a nice letter from the supply teacher saying what a polite and hard working group our morning class is. Today, we spent a block in the Learning Commons with our friends from Holy Trinity working on our app project.  The grade ten students were very impressed with the effort our class has devoted to this learning task.  In Math, we learned about the difference between digital and analog time.  Tomorrow, we will solve problems related to telling time.  For example, if I wake up at 6:30 am and have a shower for 15 minutes, get dressed for 15 minutes, brush my teeth for 5 minutes and spend 10 minutes eating breakfast, what time will I leave for school?  In Religion, we watched a video about the Parable of the Good Samaritan and reflected on the important message behind this story.  Homework was given out yesterday and will be due Thursday as Friday is a PD Day.  Please note that most students received their patterning quizzes back to take home today.  A few children had left a question unanswered so I gave them time to finish their quiz today and they will receive their quizzes tomorrow.
