Today we visited the Learning Commons to exchange books and spend time reading. We are continuing to learn about elapsed time and looked at a strategy to help us determine the difference between when an activity begins and ends. The students have a copy of the timeline strategy in their notebooks. They also have sample questions which we reviewed together. In the Inquiry Books, the children worked with a peer to solve two problems about elapsed time. We then re-grouped to share our strategies. We also reviewed our weekly homework which will be due Friday.
