Monday Morning

We spent time reading and selecting books in the Learning Commons today.  The students also had the chance to share the logos they created for the App Project.  Tomorrow, we will be meeting with the class from Holy Trinity to continue collaborating on this activity.  In Math, the students answered some multiple choice questions relating to rounding and place value.  We are beginning our unit on patterning tomorrow and will be learning how to describe, extend and create patterns that have multiple attributes (e.g., size and shape).  The class had a chance to brainstorm adjectives about Ali who is the main character in our read aloud "Fish In A Tree."  Please note that for homework this week, the students were only assigned their reading log which is due Friday but there will probably be a bit of art work for our App Project.
