Thursday

It was a busy morning this last day of school before March Break.  We reviewed success criteria for persuasive writing on the Smartboard and read a letter from a girl whose goal was to persuade us why, in her opinion, hockey is a better sport than dance.  Students worked together to develop their own topics for persuasive writing.  One of my favourites was why donuts should be eaten at every meal! Our Math Lesson focussed on shapes that are symmetrical and students had to determine which of the shapes they were given had lines of symmetry.  My wish is for everyone to have a wonderful and restful March Break with their families!  Looking forward to seeing everyone when we return to school on Monday March 17th, 2014.
